From independent engineer to technical founder

I began my professional career in 2012 as an independent software engineer, working directly with companies and organizations in Saudi Arabia and taking full responsibility for delivering complete web systems.

My early work included logistics, e-commerce, government workflows, document management, financial platforms, and operational systems. These projects required more than writing code: they required understanding the business, structuring complex processes, designing databases, building administrative interfaces, deploying production environments, and supporting real users.

Over time, my role expanded into software architecture, technical leadership, product strategy, infrastructure, security, and team development.

In 2023, I founded Quanizon to transition from independent and project-based delivery into a structured technology company. Through Quancats, its software delivery arm, we build and manage SaaS products, internal platforms, and complex business systems for companies and institutions across the MENA and GCC markets.

Today, I divide my work between leading the company, defining product and technology direction, designing system architectures, establishing engineering standards, guiding technical teams, and remaining directly involved in foundational and high-risk technical decisions.

Professional Focus

Where business complexity meets technical execution

  • 01

    SaaS Product Engineering

I help transform operational problems and market opportunities into structured software products — from concept through architecture, delivery planning, and long-term technical ownership.

This includes evaluating technical feasibility and delivery risk, defining product scope, phases, priorities, and implementation roadmaps, and designing configurable multi-tenant platforms.

I also build administrative systems, workflow engines, and permission models, support Arabic and English product experiences, and balance proprietary product development with client delivery requirements.

    • Product definition and feasibility
    • Multi-tenant platform architecture
    • Admin systems and workflow engines
    • Bilingual product experiences
    • Delivery planning and roadmaps
    • Long-term maintainability
  • 02

    Fintech and Tax Technology

I have led the architecture and development of taxation and financial platforms for individuals, businesses, and government-related use cases.

This includes translating tax legislation into calculation logic, guided workflows, financial controls, auditing processes, and systems that remain maintainable as regulations change.

  • 03

    Internal Business Systems

I design internal systems that replace fragmented spreadsheets, manual procedures, and disconnected services.

Typical capabilities include workflow management, orders, shipments, financial data, approvals, documents, permissions, auditing, reporting, and third-party integrations.

  • 04

    Technical Leadership

I lead multidisciplinary teams across backend, frontend, mobile, UX/UI, QA, databases, DevOps, and infrastructure.

My responsibility is not limited to assigning tasks. I define architecture, establish engineering standards, manage technical risk, review critical decisions, and help teams develop stronger technical ownership.

Technical Leadership

Strong governance without removing team ownership

My leadership approach combines centralized governance of high-impact decisions with practical autonomy for implementation teams.

Teams are encouraged to propose solutions, improve implementation, and demonstrate creativity. However, decisions that may affect security, architecture, data integrity, scalability, or long-term maintenance must pass through senior technical review.

  1. 01

    Team ownership

Teams propose solutions, improve implementation, and demonstrate creativity in day-to-day delivery.

  2. 02

    Senior review

Decisions that affect security, architecture, data integrity, scalability, or long-term maintenance pass through senior technical review.

  3. 03

    Final authority

I retain final review over direction-critical, sensitive, and release-critical decisions.

I Retain Final Review Over

01 → 03

  1. 01

    Direction & architecture

    • Product and technical planning.
    • System and infrastructure architecture.
    • Database structure and major data decisions.
    • Core technologies and architectural patterns.
  2. 02

    Sensitive execution

    • Security-sensitive implementation.
    • Critical libraries and dependencies.
    • Technical and functional documentation.
    • Major UX and interface decisions.
  3. 03

    Release & quality

    • Production readiness and final quality.
    • Release and deployment approval.

Knowledge Transfer

  1. 1

I remain technically involved not only to protect quality, but to transfer experience.

  2. 2

When a challenge provides an opportunity to develop the team, I explain the architectural reasoning, trade-offs, risks, and implementation approach to the responsible team member.

  3. 3

The objective is to distribute knowledge and progressively increase team ownership without compromising production quality or security.
